ASDB Superintendent Annette Reichman Honored as Deaf Life Magazine’s Person of the Month for February 2017
Deaf Life Magazine is a Prestigious Internationally Distributed Magazine Published and Written by Deaf People
Phoenix, AZ, February 27, 2017 – Today, Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (ASDB) proudly announced that Superintendent Annette Reichman was honored to be Deaf Life magazine’s “Deaf Person of the Month” for February 2017.
Superintendent Reichman’s interview with Deaf Life, along with a pictorial highlight of her in her role as superintendent, are included in the in-depth “Deaf Person of the Month” article.
“I am honored and humbled to be recognized by such a prestigious magazine by and for Deaf people,” said Superintendent Reichman. Deaf Life magazine has been an important voice for Deaf issues since the 1980s, and continues to be a source for important information within the greater Deaf community.”
On July 15, 2016, Annette Reichman was selected as Arizona State School for the Deaf and the Blind’s first Deaf superintendent and its first superintendent with vision limitations in its 104-year history.
