Go Camping with Camp LEAP

  • June 11-13, 2021 – campers entering 8-12th grade fall 2021

ASDB’s Camp LEAP will be following social distancing and other safety precautions recommended by Arizona Department of Health Services. As a result, each session will have a limited number of camper spots.

 

We will continue to follow public health recommendations, which may result in the cancelation or postponement of Camp LEAP or various scheduled activities.

ASDB’s Camp LEAP is for deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind teens in Arizona, entering 8-12th grade the following fall. To “LEAP” is to strive for Leadership, Exploration, Advocacy, & Play! At Camp LEAP, Campers will journey into future planning and independent skill development, hone their self-advocacy muscles, all while engaging in fun activities and forming friendships that will last a lifetime!

Important Information

Program fee: $25. *Limited scholarships available.

Who can attend: Camp LEAP is for Deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind teens currently living in Arizona who will be entering grades 8-12 in the fall.

We are looking for Camp Counselors!

 

Camp Counselors are responsible for students on a daily basis ensuring students’ safety, managing children’s behavior and acting as role models. The Counselors will model participation in all daily activities and use group management skills to engage all children in activities.
