DCMP is happy to announce the launch of a new workshop about audio description for the blind. The workshop was created in collaboration with Dicapta. There are two versions: Let’s Describe is in English and Describamos is in Spanish.
This training is freely available to everyone with a free DCMP account. The workshop takes approximately two hours to complete, and doesn’t need to be finished all at once. Participants will learn guidelines and best practices for describing prerecorded video, different examples of description. Within the course there will be practice for creating description.
Participants will earn a certificate upon successful completion of the workshop for two hours of ACVREP credit.
