By donating to PDSD and then claiming a tax credit on your 2019 income tax, you are actually specyfying where you would like your state taxes applied.

Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, which includes Phoenix Day School for the Deaf, is an educational institution (ARS 15-1302(C)). You may find helpful the state website, www.azdor.gov/taxcredits, and then choose School Tax Credits.

Listed below are some programs that would greatly benefit from your tax credit donation.

  • Fine Arts
  • Athletics/After School Programs
  • High School Close Up/International Studies
  • Field Trips
  • Academic Competitions
  • Western Sates Basketball and Cheerleading Classic

If a specific program does not pique your interest, we will gladly identify the activity with the biggest need. We truly appreciate the benefit your donation will bring to PDSD. Thank you for your consideration!

Please note that any funds earmarked for ECFE will not be eligible for this tax credit.

What Qualifies?

By law, only donations to extracurricular activities that charge a fee, such as tutoring, athletics, field trips, special programs and more qualify for the tax credit.
