We’re thrilled to announce that Senator Lela Alston has extended a special invitation to PDSD students to join her at the Senate on Monday for a meaningful event!
On Monday at 1:15 PM, our students will have the honor of reciting the Pledge of Allegiance alongside Senator Alston. Following this, she will read a proclamation in recognition of World Hearing Day.
Representatives from ACDHH and Superintendent Reichman will also be in attendance to support this significant occasion.
Senator Alston has been a steadfast champion for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing communities in Arizona, ensuring that the Senate acknowledges World Hearing Day every year.
