ASDB Virtual Education

ASDB Virtual Education is a web-based service that connects those in need of itinerant services in the areas of Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Visual Impairment with certified teachers for live, one-on-one online sessions. We are dedicated to serving Arizona students who benefit from Hearing and/or Vision support.

We are dedicated to serving Arizona students who benefit from Hearing and/or Vision support.

Our licensed teachers have specific experience in the student’s area of need, and our platform is entirely secure and confidential.

Receiving services from ASDB’s Virtual Education Program is easy and convenient. If you have an Internet-connected computer or tablet equipped with audiovisual capabilities (speakers, a microphone, and a webcam) which come standard on virtually all devices, you have access to our Virtual Education Platform.

Our services are targeted to the instruction needed. Our students can receive services when it fits their schedule, where they are located, to meet their particular needs and learning styles.

Our staff works directly with school Districts, school personnel, and students to set up a unique learning environment tailored to meet the needs of individual learners. Our staff will guide you through your initial encounter with our system and confirm that your hardware and software are in full functioning order to receive Virtual Education Services.

During sessions, our teachers connect with students via safe and secure videoconferencing software. Students meet one-on-one at the designated time, for the designated session length. Once online together, the student and teacher join for individualized, specially designed instruction.
