Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind
2017 Five-Year Strategic Plan

Under the leadership of Superintendent Reichman, Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind is currently undergoing an intensive, agency-wide strategic planning process. The goal is to unite agency staff under a new culture of collaboration and continuous improvement that is laser-focused on improving academic, career and life outcomes for the deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, multiply sensory disabled and deaf-blind children that it serves. An initial five-year strategic plan is slated to be developed by July 1, 2017, which will lay the cornerstone upon which future goals, objectives, strategies and action plans will be built.
