Services to families are based on individual needs, and may include; but are not limited to: educational support focusing on language development and general developmental milestones, pediatric audiology, American Sign Language, speech/spoken language, vision services, functional vision assessments, physical therapy, occupational therapy, orientation & mobility, pre-braille, tactile literacy and feeding therapy as needed. Deaf role models, connections to parent support groups and other parent-to-parent opportunities are available. Services are provided at no cost to families on AHCCCS and ALTCS. Families that have private insurance contribute to the cost of their services based on a sliding scale as regulated by the State of Arizona’s Family Cost Participation for AzEIP. Service coordination, evaluations, and assessments are provided at no cost to families.
